The fair is going to feature more than fifteen fine art photography exhibitors from around the United States. Exhibitors will have samples from their inventories, some of which will be available for purchase on site. The fair opens Friday, October 5th with a private event followed by two days of exhibitions. Saturday morning includes a free and open to the public panel discussion, “On Collecting Photography” from 11am-12pm.
Rare Spanish autochromes (one of the earliest color photography processes) will be featured at National Geographic Image Collection’s booth. Vintage and contemporary photographs from our archives will also be available for purchase.
For those interested in attending the fair, it is located at 2801 Sixteenth Street, NW, Washington, DC – this is in Columbia Heights neighborhood, accessible by Metro and major bus routes.
